The job application process is often frustrating, repetitive, and difficult. People submit applications, receive no updates on application status, input the same information over and over again, and get overwhelmed with the sheer volume of places to apply to jobs.
This project is conceptual, born out of frustrations from going through the job application process, and of complaints found through research.
Competitive Analysis
There are many places for individuals to apply to jobs - which is actually one of the problems throughout the process. Some of the job boards available include Glassdoor, Indeed, Google, and LinkedIn.
Connect is an aggregator to keep track of all job applications, making it easier for users to both apply to jobs, and keep track of what they have applied to. It incorporates features that other platforms do not, such as status trackers, personal industry advisors, and resources to make the job search easier.

Streamlined application process by having AI suggest and apply to job matches and automatically upload the "basic" information on applications.

Providing users with resources and a personal advisor to guide users through the application process

Mandatory transparency of interview processes and application status when opportunities are posted on the job board.

Process
Beginning with the information architecture of the platform, I then iterated on wireframes and lo-fidelity mockups to explore concepts on ways to create not just another job board, but an aggregated dashboard that streamlines the application experience.

Conclusion
Connect makes the job application process easier. With a comprehensive dashboard, users could view application status, gain access to resources to aid in the job search, view interviews and workshops on their calendar, and auto apply to jobs that fit their criteria with the help of AI.
